Santiago Garcia, MD, FACC

I am a staff interventional cardiologist at the Minneapolis Heart Institute and an associate professor of medicine at the University of Minnesota.

My work includes more than 100 published manuscripts in peer-review medical journals. I have received grant support from government entities, philanthropic agencies and industry. 

I served as the medical director of the transcatheter valve program at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center from 2015 to 2018 and was a fellow of the Emerging Leadership Mentorship (ELM) Program sponsored by the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) and the American College of Cardiology (ACC) from 2017-2019.
