Mark Freeman, MD
Dr. Mark G. Freeman, a native of Memphis, TN, has lived in the Chattanooga area for approximately the past 12 years.
Dr. Freeman specializes in joint replacement surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine - Chattanooga, Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He has quickly built a strong reputation for excellence with his ability to manage a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal diseases, especially in the areas of both primary and complex revision joint replacement surgery.
Additionally, Dr. Freeman takes an active role in orthopedic resident education, and has served as a guest faculty member for many regional and national continuing medical education meetings. He was awarded the resident teaching award for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery in 2007.
