NorthShore’s Neaman Center for Personalized Medicine has taken the lead in applying the latest clinical advances in personalized medicine, offering specialized clinics for conditions such cancer, heart disease and Alzheimer’s as well as one of the only pharmacogenomics clinics in the country. Their multidisciplinary team has transformed the way cancers are diagnosed by identifying the exact gene mutation that predisposes a patient to breast and colon cancer as well as other cancers through DNA (genomic) sequencing.
