Dr. Marron presents an overview of immunology, the current state of cancer immunotherapy, and approaches to moving the field forward. This includes creating an immune atlas of tumors in order to facilitate comparing responders to non-responders and developing rational combinatorial approaches. Dr. Marron also discusses deep tumor immunophenotyping as an aid in target selection, a process that is supported by Mount Sinai’s unique immune monitoring platform and expertise.
