In this fourth of four videos, Steven J. Weiss, MD, Chief, Cardiac Surgery, Chester County Hospital, presents the case report for Charles Brubaker, who at age 98 had a TAVR procedure for severe aortic stenosis and NYHA stage III heart failure (LVEF 45%). Dr. Weiss discusses the physical and practical circumstances that made Mr. Brubaker an appropriate candidate for TAVR, as well as the risk of the procedure in a person of Mr. Brubaker’s age.
