Dr. Katz and Dr. Stavropoulos discuss “ESD (Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection), a procedure that achieves organ sparing, scar-less curative removal of early gastric, esophageal, duodenal and colon cancers without invasive surgery.
The Doctors also discuss EFTR (Endoscopic Full Thickness Resection), a procedure which achieves organ sparing, non-surgical curative removal of submucosal tumors such as GISTs (gastrointestinal stromal tumors).
