Case Presentation: Three-Staged Approach to Treatment of Pathologic Fracture Due to Giant Schwannoma at C6-7

Johns Hopkins neurosurgeon Timothy Witham discusses the case of a 30-year-old, previously healthy, male patient who presented with acute neck pain and a pathological C6 vertebral body fracture. Imaging disclosed an extensive nerve sheath tumor as the cause. A complicated three-stage tumor resection was performed with extensive spinal column reconstruction.
