I'm Joanne Lima, pediatric gastroenterologist at Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital, and I'm currently seeing patients at Mount Sinai, Five Towns and Mount Sinai doctors in Greenlawn, Long Island. My goal is to provide high quality, comprehensive, family centered care tailored for the individual stations. On Go we have these different Mount Sinai locations. Um, there's a lot of patients to be seen at offices closer to their home, but still have access to the many medical experts of Mount Sinai. Star patients can consult with our pediatric G dietitian through telehealth visit. I often review radiology studies or biopsies with our pediatric radiologists and pathologists here at Mount Sinai, um, in patients also have access to new therapies or diagnostic tests, um, for inflammatory bowel disease who are renowned pediatric IBD Center, a za member of the faculty of a large academic center that's nationally ranked in our G I care. Our team is at the cutting edge of science and managing pediatric G I disorders. I care for patients with various digestive disorders, including abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea and reflux. I also have expertise in diagnosing and treating inflammatory bowel disease. Houston, A filic and savage itis and celiac disease. My particular academic interest is in taking care of patients with intestinal failure needing intestinal rehabilitation in our intestinal rehabilitation program. I mean, I also direct our new pediatric Aero Digestive Center, where patients with disorders that involve the G I tract, upper airway and lungs can be seen by myself as a gastroenterologist, ah, pulmonologist and 90 and feeding specialists. All at one visit, I performed diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy, including biopsies, polytech, Timmy's Foreign Body Removals and balloon dilation. These procedures can be performed at the May Mount Sinai Hospital or at our Long Island location, Mount Sinai South NASA. During the time of Cove it it's become harder for our patients and their families to travel Thio, our main hospital campus for medical visits. Our Mount Sinai doctors in Greenland and five towns allow easy access and ample parking. We've taken any steps to ensure the safety of our patients and visitors during this challenging time are waiting. Rooms had ample space and patients are scheduled with plenty of time to avoid use of the waiting room. Social distancing procedures are enforced throughout the check in process and throughout the visit, all our facilities undergo vigorous disinfection procedures and sanitizing after each patient visits. And for those who prefer, we also offer telemedicine visits. We use my chart, which give families access to their medical records and easily connect with me or a member of my office staff for pediatric offices or practices.
