Carissa Baker-Smith, MD, MS, MPH, assistant professor of pediatrics at University of Maryland School of Medicine, highlights some of the signs and symptoms of heart disease that pediatricians should consider. In particular, in this video, she reviews the clinical presentation of a select number of cases of severe cardiac disease in children.
Through various case studies, Dr. Baker-Smith walks through the clinical presentation, diagnostic testing, and management for five children with a significant heart conditions.
